System requirements

To install and run this version of IAR Build Tools you need:

• An AMD64-compatible PC with:

For Microsoft Windows

• Windows 10
• Windows 11
• 64-bit variants are supported.
• At least 4 Gbytes of RAM, and 10 Gbytes of free disk space.

For Linux

• Ubuntu 64-bit operating system, version 20.04 or 22.04.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 64-bit operating system, version 9.
• At least 4 Gbyte of RAM, and 5 Gbytes of free disk space.
• A Portable Document Format (pdf) reader to access the product documentation

License management system

This version of IAR Build Tools requires that a license server with a valid network license for your product is accessible on the local network. Information about the installation and the license activation procedure can be found in the following document.
