System requirements
To install and run this version of IAR Build Tools you need:
- An AMD64-compatible PC with:
- Windows 7
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
- 64-bit variants are supported.
- At least 4 Gbyte of RAM, and 10 Gbytes of free disk space.
- Ubuntu 64-bit operating system, version 18.04 or 20.04.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 64-bit operating system, version 8.
- At least 4 Gbyte of RAM, and 5 Gbytes of free disk space.
- A Portable Document Format (pdf) reader to access the product documentation
License management system
This version of IAR Build Tools requires that a license server with a valid network license for your product is accessible on the local network. Information about the installation and the license activation procedure can be found in the following document.
